I’m Vic Watson. I’m a creative storyteller, professional people-person and community enthusiast.

And I’ve spent the past 15+ years telling other people’s stories.

From journalism to a decade in factual TV, where I scoured the country (and beyond) to find people and stories about absolutely all-sorts for major TV channels, including BBC, CBBC, Channel 4, Channel 5 & STV. My job took me up mountains, into prisons, hospitals, on remote islands and more.

Then onto the Third Sector, working in communications for a global youth charity. Before making my way into marketing at Europe’s biggest inland surf resort.

Throughout my career, I’ve told stories always in a respectful way and built strong relationships with contributors and organisations along the way.

Great Story brings together my skills, experience and passion for supporting organisations, individuals and charities to do that very important but difficult thing - telling your own story well.

I believe great stories are everywhere. And that you don’t need lots of money or expensive equipment to tell them.

My obsession with capturing the beauty around us and finding magic in the mundane can also be seen in my photography, which you can find more about on this website.
